Sunday 19 July 2015, saw the successful running of the Zone 16 ODE Championships for 2015. This event saw over 60 riders competing from both Zone 16 and adjoining zones.
The event was held at Equestrian Park, Curtin Canberra. This amazing venue allows us access to wonderful facilities allowing children to compete on sand dressage arenas, rubber jump pads and a beautiful but testing x-country course. For those arriving early it was amazing listen to the roaring lions in the nearby zoo – definitely a life time experience.
Following a cold start (that even froze the water jump in the early hours of the morning) the sun quickly shone through ensuing it was a beautiful day for all.
