TIME: 8.00am gear check for 8.30am start
ENTRY FEE: $35.00 per day
Camping Bungendore Showground current charges are $22 per night per site. This is payable directly to the caretakers.

HELPERS
This is a Zone 16 run event. Helpers are to be nominated when entering, all riders must have a volunteer.
Associates without helpers can help with Friday set-up or pack down on Sunday. No helper means no competition.
COVID Declaration
This event will be run in adherence with all current NSW Covid safe precautions, by attending this event participants agree to uphold all precautions in place at time of the event.
Do not attend this event if unwell on the day of the event or if under a stay at home order, have been in a declared hotspot, are waiting on the result of a covid test, or have been identified as a close contact.
All persons entering the grounds will need to use two QR codes:
- On entry to the showgrounds and
- the Zone 16 event QR Code before entering the arena/competition field.
We encourage
- the use of masks when social distancing cannot be maintained
(if under a health direction, masks may be mandatory) - use of hand sanitiser: hand sanitiser will be available although participants are encouraged to also bring their own individual supply
- social distancing be maintained at all times of at least 1.5 m
- to support contactless gear check, all riders must be able to adjust their own gear or have a parent with them at gear check

- Results can be used to assist in State and National nominations.
- If riders are not in attendance at awards presentations riders forfeit their ribbons, but their placing will be held.
- Riders must be a current financial member of PCANSW.
- Pending covid restrictions, financial members outside zone 16 are welcome to participate.
- Riders C grade and above may bring a second horse in accordance with PCANSW rules (amended March 2017) for dressage and show jumping. Each combination will need to pay a separate entry fee. Second horse non-competitive, must be declared at entry and the competitive horse must compete first if in the same class/ grade. The higher grade horse is deemed the competitive horse is in separate grades.
- Callers are permitted at all test levels for dressage, but must follow Blue Book rule of reading only the printed text without any other form of assistance or penalties will apply.
- Strictly no grading card no jump, full uniform including helmet to walk jumping classes.
- The Zone 16 Executive reserves the right to change the program if required.
- Age groups may be split dependant on entries led to associate.
- Refunds of 50 per cent after the closing date will be given only upon presentation of a medical certificate or a vet certificate.
- Dogs – ideally no dogs if unavoidable strictly no dogs on horse areas and must be on lead at all times.
SCORING:
10 points for 1st place down to 1 point for 10th place for each event. For same horse/ rider combination
AWARDS:
- Ribbons to fifth place in each individual event.
- Age championship awards for sporting.
- Dressage:
- club team championship competition, first to third place – Bicknell Perpetual Trophy awarded to the champion club team
- Dressage champions by level will be awarded
- Dressage strictly to timed draw orders riders must be on time for their assigned dressage test or maybe eliminated
- Rider can elect the level of dressage (one level only per combination) they wish to compete
- age groups shall be junior and associate
- champion will be awarded as a combination of the two tests, in the event of a count back the higher lettered test be used.
- Showjumping:
- One club team championship competition, first to third place. Teams will comprise a maximum of four riders from the same club and a minimum of three riders. Maximum of 2 riders in each grade scores will count
- Grade champions will be awarded
- In the event a count back is required AM5 results is considered the higher-level event
- Each grade will be open for 1 hour, riders must jump between dressage rounds
- Strictly no card no jump will apply.
- Sporting:
- Riders will need to complete their sporting between show riding classes.
- All awards are open to all competitors. i.e. financial pony club riders from outside of Zone 16 are eligible pending any covid restrictions that may prevent interzone travel.
- Saturday and Sunday at the completion of events there will be a Presentation of all the point score winners for the day. All riders are to be present for this.
- Led riders are not eligible for championship classes.

- AM5 – run as a two round event, the second round optimium time for Intro/ E /D grade and
against the clock for C, B, and A grade
Article 238 .2.2 A Jump-Off competition against the clock (AM5) In the event of equality of penalties for first place, there will be one jump-off against the clock. Other competitors are place according to the penalties and time in the first round. For minor competitions, the jump-off may be run according to table C, if thus provided in the schedule.
