The Zone 16 Show Riding team made the trip to Parkes on the weekend 4 to 6 December. The team comprised:

Ruby Ling (Under 9 years, Queanbeyan PC member)

Estelle Wenn, Ashley Meyer-Dilley, and Myf Clarke (Associate, Bungendore PC members)

Lara Polkinghorne (Associate, Queanbeyan PC member)

Despite their small number, all the riders made an impression on the event judges, with the following results:

Ruby – 4th place in the U9 Rider class

Myf – 1st in the Pleasure Hack ne16.0hh and 5th place in the Associate Bareback

Lara – 3rd place in the Show Hunter ne16.2hh class

Ashley – 2nd in the Educated Hack ne14.2hh class

And the Associates winning the team of four riders class and placing in the pair of riders also.
